I have purchased the new DSLR profiessional camera and after one monthe gave it for cleaning. After cleaning the camera stopped working and i returned for service. They took weeks time but still the problem was not solved. Looks like i purchased the camera for thousands of dirhams and gave it for their technicians training. Finding a better service center is important before purchasing the professional camera and Grandstores is not suggested.

I would like to share here with you all my disappointment with the customer care of one of your shops, in the Dubai Mall.

I bought a digital photo camera 3 weeks ago to replace a 6 years old one, expecting an upgrade in the technology, to get a better quality pictures. After looking in different shops and supermarkets, we decided to go to your shop considering the advice to choose one specific model would be more professional than in a normal carrefour.
After some time discussing with Mr. Hamid, one of your sales men there, he advised 2 or 3 models. At the end I specifically asked him: which one gives the best quality pictures, and he appointed to one. (casio exilim G EX-G1).

We properly used it for the first time last weekend, on a quick trip to the nature and we were shocked about the bad quality of the pics. After that, we had spent the week trying to figure out if there was an issue with the adjustments selected, but no, unfortunately no option gave half of the quality than our 6 year old compact one. All the pictures looked blurry and like foggy. This morning we made more test, doing the same video at the same time with both cameras, and in the new one, all the images looked like done in a foggy day in London... Obviously you sold us a camera for kids to play at the swimming pool, but now for adults to take normal pictures...

We went then to your shop to complaint about the very unprofessional advice about the camera, and all they could say, including all the members there (Mr. Deepak, Mrs. Rodha) and the manager, whom we spoke by phone,(Mr. Amgad) is that the 7 days of test were passed and they could do anything.
Probably I´m used to the standards of customer care in Europe where the shop would had taken fully responsibility for the wrong advice, and would have offer an apology, and reimbursement or at least an exchange. It´s really sad that you have the same policy as if we had bought it in a big supermarket choosing the camera on our own instead of asking for advice to some so called "professionals"... very sad.

Hopefully someday you change your policies trying to get your customer satisfied and make sure that your staff knows about their products, understanding the customer needs and taking responsibility for their advice.

From my side, I know I will never buy again in any of your shops and highly recommend everyone to do the same.
